Way to Go, Chicago!

According to yesterday's Variety, construction is already underway in Chicago (5 miles southwest of the Loop) for one of the largest studio complexes outside of L.A.  That could mean big time work for Chicago actors and crew -- the article suggests that, when completed, the complex could employ as many as 6,000 folks.

"Cinespace Chicago," a state of the art studio will also go a long way towards luring big-budget films -- and even TV shows -- to the Windy City.

  1. Wow! That's great! Wish Seattle would do something like this ... good to know that if you do ever head home there's the prospect of more work. And that they're serious about keeping the industry involved in the Windy City.
