Audition

Last week I got called in by Scott David for an audition for a project he's working on.  Scott is also the Casting Director on Criminal Minds, but this was a side project -- one which sounds very cool.  As it was mainly being kept under wraps, those of us auditioning only got 3 pages of the script, so it was an interesting challenge coming up with some strong, specific choices to play.  At the audition, there were quite a few guys -- of many types -- reading for the same character.  I feel like I did pretty well, but I haven't heard back yet, so it makes me think they went another way. 

Even if I don't get the part, I am grateful that Scott called me in again, which I suppose means that he didn't hate my read for Criminal Minds earlier this year even though I didn't get that role.
