Seems that the phenomenon of Global Cooling has taken hold of the Midwest. My sister, who is a teacher in Wisconsin, told me this afternoon that classes had already been canceled for tomorrow due to cold with temps expected to be around -10 (-30 to -40 with the wind chill.) Somehow it didn't help when I told her at that very moment I was walking down the street in shorts and a T-shirt enjoying the sunny, warm southern California day...
