Safeway Chrstmas

I worked as an extra last week on a Safeway job. Safeway is a huge grocery store company that has chains around the country (here they're called "Vons".) The commercial setup was a holiday party, showcasing their delicious food, of course. It was a good shoot -- we shot at this really cool house in Pacific Palisades -- the only downside was that since it's a holiday spot, we were all dressed very warmly in a very warm house on a very warm day. But, I'm just glad to be working! There were only a few other folks working, so keep your eyes peeled for me once the Christmas commercials start running ;)

Annnnd There She Goes!

Kudos to Gina who has just been accepted into the prestigious NBC Diversity Program - "Writers on the Verge." This intensive 10-week program will focus on the participants' creation of new writing samples with input from NBC execs and developing their connections within the industry. Hopefully, in the next several months the program will connect her with the right representation (agent/manager) and (fingers crossed!) maybe even a TV staff writer position. Congratulations!

Hollywood Forever!

At the Hollywood Forever cemetery, to raise funds for the upkeep, they show films projected against the mausoleum. Last night we went to see Rosemary's Baby there. I couldn't believe how many people they fit on that lawn! The movie was great, and seeing it while immersed in that atmosphere was a lot of fun!

New Dog Jack Trailer

Here is a new trailer for Dog Jack, the Civil War movie I had a role in. It is the first preview trailer to feature the voiceover work of Oscar Winner, Lou Gossett, Jr. who narrates the film.
